SALISBURY, Md. — A Good Samaritan is being credited with rescuing a driver who crashed their vehicle into the Wicomico River Tuesday afternoon.

Fire officials say it happened near the Times Square Area in Salisbury.

The Good Samaritan is said to be a worker at a nearby nursing home.

It's unclear what caused the car to plunge into the river. There's no word on the driver's condition.
