BALTIMORE — Does your charity or non-profit need a little extra help right now?
Posting a picture may help!
Right now, Freedom Federal Credit Union is hosting a social media campaign to help these organizations in need.
First just like or follow them on their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts.
Then post a picture of your volunteers, showcasing how they help the Baltimore and Harford County communities.
Don't forget to apply #FreedomToHelpChallenge.
"The best part about the #FreedomToHelpChallenge is any charity any non-profit big or small can be involved and get something great out of it, you can enter a photo and reach thousands of people in a week that may never have heard of your cause," said Ashira Quabili, the Marketing Communications Coordinator for Freedom Federal Credit Union. She added, "all of these charities are doing amazing things in our communities and this is a great opportunity for them to get their name out there and get their missions out there."
This is the third year Freedom Federal Credit Union has hosted the challenge, and it might be the most important one yet, since non-profits are really struggling over the pandemic.
"It is more important than ever for these non-profit who are still going forward with their missions and still striving to make the best of a really trying situation it’s more important than ever that we get the awareness behind those causes and get them more support than ever before," said Quabili.
The challenge ends December 10, so make sure you submit a picture before then.
There will be weekly winners and a grand prize of $1,000 at the end.
