COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County Police say they've made an arrest in a homicide that took place Wednesday morning in Cockeysville.

"I just heard a single shot around like maybe 6:10 or 6:15 this morning it was real loud," one person said.

It's how many people woke up Wednesday morning to the parking lot of their apartment complex being turned into a crime scene.

"I saw the police line the yellow ribbons all over the place, so naturally I came outside to inquire," Darrell Binns, a neighbor said.

Officers found Azayn Antrobus, 23, shot in the unit block of Queensbridge Court around 6am.

"They found the guy laying out by the dumpster over there. Apparently he lived right next door to where me and my sister stay," one person said.

So far, it's unclear if a car was stolen and if it was related to this incident, but police have arrested at least one person following this fatal shooting.

Investigators arrested a suspect, but revealed no further information on what led up to the incident.
