GLENWOOD, Md. — It’s time to try some new restaurants without breaking the bank.
Howard County's Winter Restaurant & Craft Beverages Week is underway. It began Monday and ends on January 31.
County Executive Calvin Ball officially kicked off the event Thursday at Walker’s Tap and Table in Glenwood. More than 30 restaurants and breweries are participating. They're offering special menus and deals.
Restaurant owners say they appreciate all of the support the community has given them throughout the pandemic. They have just one message.
"Think about your favorite restaurant today,” said Walker’s Tap & Table Co-Owner Anthony DiGangi. “If you're watching this just go on their website and purchase a gift card that's the easiest way to help right now."
