WESTMINSTER, Md. — Freezing rain from Sunday night made for some icy road conditions that resulted in some road closures in Carroll County.
And as the temperature continues to drop, here overnight the ice is one the biggest concerns for officials heading into tomorrow.
Maryland State Police say despite all of the accidents across the state they haven’t responded to any here in Westminster. It’s unclear if the County Sheriff responded to any.
MSP also told said the roads have been in pretty good shape throughout the day and of course crews are going to be working through the night .
It is expected to snow overnight.
This area could see some of the same issues with ice as it did today. So as always, officials are urging for people to stay home and off the roads.
