Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski Jr. wants to assure residents that their needs will be met in light of the recent weather.
The storm Wednesday evening knocked down trees and power lines causing damage to homes and blocking roadways.
Officials are working to respond to residents that need assistance.
"We consult with BGE to make sure that power and electric is restored as promptly as possible," said Olszewski. "I know that Councilman Marks, for example, has been working with Towson University to get discounted rates for residents who are displaced or in need."
Olszewski also thanked fire crews that responded to the microburst Wednesday night
