BALTIMORE — Lamar Jackson may be in the middle of a serious fight to the playoffs, but he's taking time to give back to the community.
On Monday, he held the first ever Christmas for Dreamers Toy Drive in Baltimore.
Forever Dreamers Inc., an organization founded by Jackson, distributed toys to more than 150 families and children.
Lamar was there, and his mother was there as well. She says giving back is something she's instilled in her kids.
"We all have hard times in a pandemic. At least you know it's someone here to help you out. Why not take the stress off the parents some kind of way."
The Forever Dreamers Foundation's mission is to ensure that children’s socioeconomic, educational, physical, and emotional needs are enhanced to ensure positive growth and development.
