OCEAN CITY — The Maryland Department of Health will host COVID-19 testing at the Ocean City Convention Center on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12.

Testing will occur between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. both days, and patients can schedule their own appointments by calling 410-632-1100 and pressing 8.

Tests at the Ocean City Convention Center will be provided at no out-of-pocket cost to patients, and no doctor’s order is required.

Results from tests provided this weekend at the Convention Center site are expected to be available within two to three days. Patients will be contacted with their results via phone or text message.

The testing site will be located in the parking lot at the corner of Convention Center Drive and Coastal Highway.

This is a drive-thru testing site and patients will enter the site via Convention Center Drive. Photo identification is required to get a test.

The Maryland Department of Health is operating the Ocean City Convention Center testing site with the support of the Worcester County Health Department and the Ocean City Police Department.

The Convention Center testing site supplements the other successful testing sites currently operating in Ocean City, including the West Ocean City Park & Ride and Public Landing Road sites operated by Worcester County.

There are now more than 215 testing sites operating across Maryland.
