MARYLAND — Police departments across the country are sharing a cup of joe with their communities for National Coffee with a Cop day.
The day was created in California back in 2011 as a way for officers to build better relationships with the people they vowed to protect and serve.
Several local police departments are hosting their own coffee hours including Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Howard counties.
