Maryland State Police have responded to 501 crashes, 233 disabled/abandoned vehicles and answered 1633 calls for service from 8 a.m. Sunday to 10 p.m. Monday.
All Maryland counties but St. Mary's, Wicomico and Worcester have snow emergency plans in effect.
Due to the continuing weather event, they are asking people to avoid travel or use extra caution if driving.
