MARYLAND — Maryland voters in the Baltimore area decided a crowded special primary for who will be their parties' nominees to fill the rest of the late Elijah Cummings' term in Congress.
The election took place Tuesday for Maryland's 7th Congressional District. There were 24 Democratic candidates. Eight Republicans were on the ballot.
Kweisi Mfume was the winner on the Democratic side. Kimberly Klacik was the winner on the Republican side.
