Multiple people injured in hit-and-run crash in South Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Multiple people were injured in a hit-and-run crash in South Baltimore.

At about 1:53 a.m. on Thursday, Southern District officers were called to the intersection of Washington Blvd and Martin Luther King Blvd to investigate a crash involving multiple vehicles.

When officers arrived at the scene they saw several victims suffering from minor injuries. One of the victims was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Preliminary information revealed that a vehicle drove through a red light and hit another vehicle.

A witness informed officers that the driver of the striking vehicle left the scene of the incident.

C.R.A.S.H. Team investigators were called to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
