OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Following a Sunday loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, a Ravens star has tested positive for COVID-19.

The team says the results came back Monday morning.

Although the Ravens wouldn't confirm which player -- cornerback Marlon Humphrey took to Twitter posting, "I got the Rona hopefully I’ll be back healthy soon."

While Humphrey has begun to self quarantine, the team is now under what's called the "intensive protocol," which includes the process of contact tracing.

"The health and safety of our players, staff and community continue to be our highest priority. We will continue to work closely with the NFL and our team doctors and will follow their guidance," the team said in a statement.

The news is another devastating blow for the Ravens who lost offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley to a gruesome season-ending injury, just days after signing him to a contract extension worth nearly $100 million.
