More than 530 Regal movie theaters around the country will be closing this weekend.
The theater chain was counting on the release of the latest James Bond film to save the day, but because of COVID-19, the film that was set to open in November, won't be coming out until April 2021.
Just in time for labor day weekend, Governor Larry Hogan signed an executive order to reopen Maryland movie theaters at 50 percent capacity or 100 people.
However, as of now, more than 7,000 Regal movie screens will be blank with about 40,000 employees across the country out of work until these doors open again.
