BALTIMORE — Registration for YouthWorks, Baltimore City’s summer jobs program for young people, has opened for the 2021 summer session!

Residents ages 14 years to 21 years old can register here as a new or returning prospective participant.

The 2021 registration process will be conducted entirely online and will be open through March 19.

YouthWorks 2021 is scheduled to operate a largely virtual program from June 28 to August 6.

The YouthWorkers will work four hours per day, five days per week and receive the minimum wage of $11.75/hour.

“Year after year, Baltimore’s young people show that they want to work,” said Jason Perkins-Cohen, Director of the Mayor's Office of Employment Development. “With the economic crisis brought on by the pandemic, it’s more important than ever that we provide youth with ways to earn money, learn workplace skills and develop into our future workforce.”
