Ribbon cutting ceremonies held for new schools

BALTIMORE — Several new 21st century schools will be opening their doors for the first time this fall in Baltimore City.

BCPS held three ribbon cuttings today, for Billie Holiday Elementary School, Katherine Johnson Global Academy and Robert W. Coleman Elementary School.

It cost more than $94 milion to plan, design and build the schools. The community participated in the renaming of the schools.
