Seven impaired drivers, one individual with loaded pistol arrested during Fells Point sobriety checkpoint

BALTIMORE — Maryland State Police say seven impaired drivers were arrested during the sobriety checkpoint on Boston Street overnight.

Police set up these checkpoints around Fells Point as crime has increased at night in the area.

Police say an additional driver, who attempted to flee on foot, was arrested for carrying a loaded .40 caliber pistol.
