BALTIMORE — Six people were shot with one person being killed in overnight Labor Day weekend shootings in Baltimore.
On Saturday, at about 9:32 p.m., a Southwest District patrol officer was flagged down by a citizen and informed of a shooting in the 200 block of Monastery.
Once at the location, officers found a man inside of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

About 30 minutes later, Western District patrol officers responded to the 2000 block of West Lexington Street for several discharging calls.
As officers canvassed the area, they found two men in the 100 block of Payson Street, suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.
Medics transported the victims to area hospitals where one of the victims died.
While still on the scene, officers were advised of two more victims at an area hospital.
Once at the location, officers two men suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the body.

On Sunday, at about 12:33 a.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Once at the location, officers located a 22 year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.
