GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A suspect is in custody for allegedly stabbing a man to death overnight Thursday in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County Police said they responded to a residential complex on Benesch Circle around 4am.

That's where officers found Vincent Rawlings, 26, suffering from stab wounds. He later died at the hospital.

Investigators quickly identified 32-year-old Swayne Powers Jr. as the suspect.

After a brief time on the run, Powers was arrested later in the day.

It's believed he and Rawlings knew each other, and had some kind of dispute leading up to the stabbing.
