ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Some new history is being made in Annapolis!

Ego Alley in Annapolis has had guys showing off their boats for centuries, But they have nothing on Annapolis native, Travis Pastrana.

He will jump a car over Ego Alley and land on the other side.

Mayor Gavin Buckley talking about Travis Pastrana. Pastrana is a world renown stunt driver, sky diver, base jumper, nascar driver and in his world travels his hometown of Annapolis is right there with him every step of the way. Mayor Buckle said when he was elected, he would not be your run-of-the-mill mayor.

"I told everybody it was not going to be a boring 4 years, so your about to see something exciting," Buckley said.

Exciting is an understatement. Pastrana will drive a stunt car down Newman Street, a street you can't imaging horse and buggies 250 years ago let alone a state-of-the-art stunt car ripping down the street and proceed to a ramp. After that's it's up and over Ego Alley and down on the other side for a quick stop.

"What Travis is going to bring is a contrast. This amazing history with some modern things that the kids will appreciate."

Unfortunately this show is not open to the public, the streets are just too small to make it safe to spectators, but not to worry, this show will be produced and aired at a later date.
