COCKEYSVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County Police have arrested the suspect responsible for shooting a woman at a Cockeysville hotel Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the Quality Inn in the 10700 block of Beaver Dam Road just before 9 a.m. after a 22-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body.
She was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive her injury.
Detectives were able to determine that the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Isaiah Darius Fogg, met the victim at the location after speaking through social media.
Once inside the hotel room, Fogg produced a handgun and demanded cash from the victim before shooting her. He then stole her phone and fled.
Fogg is charged with attempted first and second degree murder, first degree assault, and armed robbery.
