The Baltimore City Department of Transportation advise motorists of temporary lane closures this weekend

BALTIMORE — The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) would like to advise motorists of temporary lane closures this weekend.

Friday:

  • Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020, the intersection of Interstate Avenue and O’Donnell Street will be closed to through traffic with detours in effect, weather permitting. The intersection will remain closed throughout the weekend, and traffic utilizing the I-95 O’Donnell Street exit will be able to bare to the right to access westbound O’Donnell Street. The intersection will reopen to traffic at approximately 5:00 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020.
  • Madison Street will be closed between Wolfe Street and Rutland Avenue starting at 8:00 p.m. This portion of Madison Street will remain closed until approximately 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

Saturday:

  • Right lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between the Madison Street entrance ramp and Northern Parkway from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
    • In addition, the Madison Street entrance ramp to the northbound Jones Falls Expressway will be closed during this time.
  • A single lane closure will be implemented along northbound MD-295 in the vicinity of the Annapolis Road Bridge from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
  • A portion of Guilford Avenue will be closed to through traffic between 31st and 32nd Streets from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours in effect.
  • Madison Street will be closed to through traffic between Greenmount Avenue and Constitution Street from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours in effect.
  • Linden Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Armory Place and Madison Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with detours in effect.
  • W. 20th Street will be closed to through traffic between Charles Street and Maryland Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Sunday:

  • Temporary right lane closures will be implemented along MD-295 between Bush Street and the Annapolis Road Bridge from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. In addition, the following ramps will alternately close during this time:
    • Monroe Street exit ramp from northbound MD-295 and entrance ramp to southbound MD-295
    • Westport Street entrance ramps to northbound and southbound MD-295
    • Manokin Street entrance ramp to southbound MD-295
    • Annapolis Road exit ramp from southbound MD-295
