BALTIMORE (WMAR) — And the winners are... Mace, Spike, Sweatpea, and Hoss.
Those are a few of the bulldogs who won contests at the third annual "Racing of the Bulls" at Pimlico Racetrack on Sunday.
Some of the contests included "Best Wiggle Butt", "Best English Bulldog", "Best Costume", and of course the grand finale, "Running of the Bulls" race.
Bulldog Day as it's known is an all day event put on by Dr. Allan Frank, owner of Hunt Valley Animal Hospital, and longtime bulldog parent and surgeon who specializes in bully breed surgeries.
Dr. Frank says he plans to donate all of the event's proceeds to local bulldog and dog-related rescues.
