Three shot, two killed in Baltimore City shootings

BALTIMORE, md. — Three men were shot and two of them died after shootings in Baltimore.

The first shooting occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Friday.

Officers observed gunfire coming from a vehicle in the 500 block of North Lakewood Avenue. Officers say they then found a man who had been shot. The man was taken to an area hospital by ambulance.

Officers gave a police helicopter a description of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and suspects were taken into custody.

Detectives are currently investigating.

The second shooting occurred overnight on Saturday, at approximately 12:44 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Cecil Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers say they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital and pronounced dead by medical personnel.

Detectives are currently investigating.

On Saturday at approximately 3:17 p.m., officers headed to the 4800 block of The Alameda to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers canvassed the area and located an unidentified man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital and pronounced dead by medical personnel.
