MIDDLE RIVER, md. — Today, the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum at Martin State Airport in Middle River is reopening.
Here, visitors can discover Maryland’s aviation and space history.
General Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. The summer schedule during this COVID climate is Wednesdays and Saturdays 11am to 3pm. Other days are available with an appointment by calling 410-686-7404.
The museum features indoor Hangar 5 exhibits and outdoor Strawberry Point flightline of 16 aircraft.
New requirements have been set for 2020 visitors including the wearing of masks, maintaining social distancing by following tour guidance floor markings, and using hand sanitation stations.
The use of credit cards for admission and gift shop purchases is currently preferred during COVID.
The Museum has always and continues to require visitors to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement which is available on the Museum’s website www.mdairmuseum.org for visitors to print, sign and bring with them to the Museum. Visiting families or groups of 9 or more will require advance reservations.
The Museum, located at 701 Wilson Point Rd, Hangar 5, 21220 is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
