Two injured, one killed overnight in Baltimore City; BPD seeking information on homicide

BALTIMORE, md. — Police are investigating after two people were injured and one died overnight in Baltimore.

Police say around 10:30 p.m., on August 6, officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

They found a 34-year-old man who had been shot in his leg while in the 200 block of South Clinton Street.

Hours later, just before 1:15 a.m., officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in stabbing victim.

When officers arrived, they found a 56-year-old man with stab wounds to his body.

He died from his injuries at the hospital.

Investigators believe the victim was in the 2800 block of Kirk Avenue when he was shot.

On Friday, Baltimore Police released the name and photo of the homicide victim. He has been identified as 56-year-old William Bellamy, Jr. and detectives still need the public's help in locating anyone who may have information on his murder.
