COLLEGE PARK — Due to rising COVID-19 cases in the state, the University of Maryland has decided to transition courses entirely to online learning, following the Thanksgiving break.

Students traveling home for Thanksgiving should remain home.

UMD says COVID-19 testing will be available the week prior to the holiday. Students who choose to remain in residence halls may stay for the rest of the semester.
