NOTTINGHAM, Md. — A fire claimed the life of a 75-year-old man Thursday night in Nottingham.
Crews were called to a home in the 4500 block of Fitch Avenue just after 11 pm.
Nothing could be seen from outside the home, but inside firefighters discovered 75-year-old Michael Richard Praglowski unconscious inside a second floor bedroom.
He later passed away at the hospital.
Investigators believe the fire was accidental, and was caused when the victim was smoking while hooked up to an oxygen tank.
