BALTIMORE — It started with “Let’s go to Mo from Glen Burnie.”
A young man coming out of afternoon hospital appointments started calling the Scott Garceau Sports Show on The Fan.
Co-host Jeremy Conn quickly learned about Mo Gaba. He learned about his cancer and his lack of eye sight. What developed was something this city hasn’t seen.
Mo quickly became a super fan. The Orioles inducted him into their Hall of Fame. The Ravens adopted him and out rows and rows of his face in the stands.
Mo died this summer, but Jeremy will not let us forget his laugh, his voice or his heart.

In a few weeks, W. West Street, near M&T Bank Stadium, will become Mo Gaba Way.
Two friends forever bonded, “thanks for calling Mo we’ll talk to you next week.” If only....if only.
