UPDATE: The Baltimore City Department of Transportation is advising motorists of the following road closures:
The following roads will be closed until further notice:
- Belair Road & Erdman Avenue (westbound travel restricted)
- Belair Road & Clifton Park Terrace (eastbound travel restricted)
- Belair Road between Erdman Avenue and Clifton Park Terrace.
The following roads will remain open to local traffic:
- Belair Road & Mareco Avenue
- Belair Road & Lawnview Avenue
The detours are as follows:
Traveling on Westbound Belair Road:
- Right on Erdman Avenue
- Left on Harford Road
- Left on North Avenue (Local Traffic Only)
- Left on Belair Road (Local Traffic Only)
Traveling on Eastbound Belair Road:
- Right on Sinclair Lane
- Left on Edison Highway
- Left on Erdman Avenue
- Right on Belair Road
Traveling on Southbound Erdman:
- Pass Belair Road
- Right on Edison Highway
- Right on Sinclair Lane
- Right on Belair Road (Local Traffic Only)
PREVIOUS STORY: A water main break has caused emergency road closures for a portion of Belair Road.
The affected areas are in the 3000 and 3200 blocks between Erdman Avenue and Clifton Park Terrace.

Currently 60 services are without water including residences and businesses, according to DPW.
CityLink Brown and ExpressLink route 115 are also being diverted as result.
Repairs are underway, but it's unclear when roads will reopen.
