ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WMAR) — If you frequently commute or travel through Maryland whether it's to or from work or anywhere else, you know traffic can be an issue.
Now those unexpected delays or road closures, may be a little easier to avoid.
On Wednesday, the Maryland State Highway Administration announced a partnership with Waze and their Connected Citizens Program.
The partnership will now allow the SHA to send drivers using the app messages, notifying them of any new traffic situations on their most frequently traveled routes.
