A Democratic National Committee staffer was killed in the first murder of the year in a popular D.C. neighborhood.
Seth Rich, 27, died Sunday morning as he took a walk in northwest D.C. He worked for the DNC as the director of voter expansion.
The DNC chair called the you man a 'selfless public servant.'
Police say two armed robberies occurred in the past few weeks in the same area. Some neighbors think this murder could have started as a robbery.
