Dogs take car for joyride in West Virginia, crash into Walmart

Posted

Two mischievous canines caused a car accident in a Walmart parking lot in Wayne, West Virginia on Friday.

WSAZ reports that an elderly woman left her car running to keep her dogs cool when she did some shopping. But after a few minutes alone, the pups were ready to head home.

With the car still running, one of the dogs managed to put the car in drive, sending it across the parking lot. The car eventually crashed into the parking lot.

After the accident, the second dog reportedly rolled down the passenger window.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department said there was minimal damage done to both the car and the building, and the woman was able to drive her car home. Neither she — nor the dogs — were cited.
