The Buffalo Bills are "aware" of abuse allegations being made on Instagram against Bills running back LeSean McCoy, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini, and are looking into them.

The Instagram post includes two images of a woman, one with a bloodied and bruised face. The post, written by a friend of the supposed victim, makes claims of abuse, animal abuse and illegal steroid use.

McCoy tweeted a response, saying in full:

"For the record, the totally baseless and offensive claims made against me today on social media are completely false. Further more, I have not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months."

The Buffalo Bills did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Scripps station WKBW in Buffalo.
