Police in Va., Wv., looking for 14-year-old girl abducted from home by armed man

BUMPASS, Va. (WMAR) — An Amber Alert for a 14-year-old Virginia girl has been extended into West Virginia.

Police believe Isabel Shae Hicks was abducted on October 21 by 33-year-old Bruce William Lynch Jr., from her Bumpass, Virginia home.

Lynch is believed to be armed with a 9mm handgun and is said to have had recent suicidal thoughts.

The two may be traveling in a 2003 Toyota Matrix blue/silver in color with Virginia tag VEM9071. Lynch could have also switched tags to UXW3614 or a yellow "Don't Tread on Me" tag of 249-9UT.

Information suggests they may be traveling out of state and staying in areas where they could camp out.
