CHICAGO — Some quick thinking tarmac workers at Chicago O'Hare stopped a wild and out of control catering cart Monday.

In a video taken by Dr. Kevin Klauer, obtained by ABC News, you can see the driver-less cart, spinning out of control and losing cargo right next to a plane.

Apparently a case of water had fallen off the seat and landed on the gas pedal.

An American Airlines worker boarded another cart and rammed into the catering cart to get it to stop.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured and no planes were damaged.

American Airlines released a statement Monday night saying:

"American Airlines is investigating an incident involving a catering truck this afternoon at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Preliminary reports indicate that the accelerator became stuck and caused the catering cart to lose control. No American Airlines team members were injured and the incident resulted in one 10 minute flight delay. We appreciate the quick action of our team member who stopped the vehicle. Safety is our top priority and we are working with our partners to investigate the incident."
