MILLERSVILLE, Md. — A 17-year-old driver was seriously injured when her pick up truck struck a tree in Davidsonville.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department received a call about a motor vehicle collision at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday along Patuxent River Road, near the intersection with Bob Bradshaw Way. Firefighters found the 17-year-old female driver trapped in her pickup truck after it had struck a tree. Responders were able to extricate her from the vehicle after a short time.
The driver was flown via medevac to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with injuries thought to be serious but not life threatening, Anne Arundel County Police said.
