A 25-year-old woman was killed Thursday morning when her car was broadsided by a work truck in an accident in Millersville, Anne Arundel County Police said.

Police responded to the two-car crash on Grover Road near Daniels Purchase Way at 10:33 a.m. The woman, Victoria Lewis-Johnson of Glen Burnie, was driving a 2007 Dodge Caliber sedan south on Grover Road when her car lost control and crossed the double yellow centerline, police said. The Dodge was then broadsided by a 2016 Ford F250 utility work truck heading north.

Lewis-Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford, 50-year-old Terrance Smith of Upper Marlboro, sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

Police ruled the primary cause of the accident as the Dodge's failure to remain right of center, with the contributing factor of the car traveling "at a speed greater than reasonable for the snowy conditions," police said. The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Safety Section, and the case will be reviewed by the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney.
