Three people are recovering after a non-fatal car crash that happened Thursday night on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Harmans.
Firefighters responded to the auto accident around 10:30 pm. Upon arriving, they found a minivan had struck the rear of a pickup truck in the area of Route 295 North near Route 100.
The 29-year-old woman driving the minivan was trapped in the van for about 15 minutes before she could be extricated and transported to the hospital. Her injuries are reported to be serious, but not life-threatening.
Her passenger, a 59-year-old man, was transported to University of Maryland Medical Center with minor injuries. The 61-year-old driver of the pickup truck was also transported to the hospital.
