MILLERSVILLE, Md. — A 67-year-old man was injured after being trapped in his car following an accident in Lothian, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said.
Firefighters responded to the crash at Northbound Route 4 near Tablot Road at 12:13 p.m. The driver of a pick-up truck had left the road and struck a tree. He was trapped in his car when firefighters arrived.
The man was extricated in about 15 minutes. He was taken to the trauma center at University of Maryland Prince George’s Hospital Center via a Maryland State Police Helicopter.
