BALTIMORE — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a June 9 crash that left a 75-year-old man dead.
It happened just after noon on Generals Highway just south of Courtland Manor Road in Millersville.
Keith Thomas Wetzel was driving near his home in a Hyndai, when he crossed over the center of the roadway and struck a tree.
The car continued approximately 75 feet until it came to a stop, leaving Wetzel trapped inside the car. By the time emergency crews could get him out, Wetzel had died.
Investigators believe he suffered a medical emergency, causing the crash.
