MILLERSVILLE, Md. — Anne Arundel County school system approved design funding for a new Old Mill West high school, which is scheduled to be built on the current site of Papa John's Farm in Millersville.
Almost $8 million was approved for the design concept.
"The school is scheduled on the current funding track to open in 2023. So four years from now we can get the design done fairly quickly," said Bob Mosier of Anne Arundel County Public Schools. "If we can get some construction funding in next years budget, we can begin building the school."
The current complex has Old Mill High North and South Mill Middle School, all three share the same building.
