A traffic stop in Brooklyn Park ends with police arresting a man and a woman on gun charges.

Jerrell Baines, 26, and Felicia Haughton, 30, were pulled over at 1:45 a.m. on Saturday at East 11th Avenue and Victory Avenue for a registration violation in Brooklyn Park.

When the police officer walked up to the driver's side, she noticed Baines in the passenger seat attempting to conceal a rifle.

Baines and Haughton were asked to get out of the car. During a search, officers found a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun in a shopping bag. They also found a .22 caliber rifle with 59 rounds of ammunition.

Baines is a convicted felon on probation for robbery in Baltimore County and isn't allowed to have a gun.

Both now face multiple charges.
