Police: Annapolis woman steals county ambulance, crashes minutes later

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A 23-year-old Annapolis woman is accused of stealing a county ambulance and crashing it minutes later.

It all started Saturday, when the ambulance was stolen from the Annapolis Fire Station at 121 Jennifer Road.

Around 12:14 p.m., Anne Arundel County Police were dispatched to Forest and Bywater Drive for a crash.

On scene it was discovered one of the vehicles involved was the stolen ambulance.

The driver, identified as Brandy Lynn Taylor had fled the scene of the crash, but was later arrested and charged with several crimes including auto theft.

It's unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
