Anne Arundel County parks open 7-days-a-week, annual passes available

Beginning Sept. 4, regional parks in Anne Arundel County will be open seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to dusk each day, the Department of Recreation and Parks announced.

The parks had previously operated on a six-day schedule each week. 

Residents who frequent the parks can purchase annual permits, or lifetime permits for seniors, to gain unlimited access to the parks and their amenities. Passes can be purchases at any of the regional parks. 

County residents can purchase passes for $30, $40 for non-residents. Seniors can obtain their lifetime passes by paying the $40 one-time fee. The daily parking fee is $6, $5 for cars with physically challenged stickers, and free for military personnel, veterans, and their families when proper I.D. is presented.
