Anne Arundel County Police offer $10K rewards for two 2018 Severn murders

Anne Arundel County Police have announced $10,000 rewards for information that helps lead to arrests in two unsolved Severn murders from 2018.

Jasmine Sherel Adams, 29, was found dead at her home in the 1800 block of Hawk Court on Aug. 15 at about 11:24 a.m. Her death was ruled a homicide due to “numerous sharp force injuries,” police said.

Earlier in the year, a college football player was killed in a shooting shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day 2018, police said. Lawrence Aaron III, of the 9000 block of Maryrest in Columbia, was left paralyzed by a shooting that occurred in the 7800 block of Bastille Road in Severn. The 19-year-old player from Marshall University died from complications of his injuries on Feb. 22, 2018. His death was ruled a homicide.
