A series of unrelated events have added police presence at three schools in Anne Arundel County.

A post on SnapChat made threats and racial statements to students at Northeast High School.  Police did not think the threat was credible.

An online inquiry about a threat led to extra patrols at North County High School. Police never discovered any threat.

At Glen Burnie High School police said the threat stemmed from a fight between three students.

"One of the individuals involved in the fight made a threat against one of the other people involved, threatening violence against them. According to the person on the receiving end this person also threatened violence in general," said Marc Limansky with the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Police say they found the person who made the threat and arrested them. The student is 16 years old.
