ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Board of Education met today. The topic on everyone's mind is when and how school is going to start in the fall.

The county has come up with three options:

  • School starts off with everyone there
  • All virtual learning
  • A mix of both.

Aiden Marian is getting ready to start his sophomore year at Broadneck High School. He had a major part of his freshman year interrupted because of the coronavirus.

Although he wishes everything would just go back to normal, he is leaning toward a combination of in-school and virtual learning.

"I think for the safety of everyone else, I think I would much rather have it be a mix of both, like we have inside school for learning and maybe do all the home work and stuff online and maybe certain lessons and what not," he said.

Transportation, cleaning, the cafeteria are all things in consideration as we start back up. The board won’t make a decision until the end of this month.
