Police have identified the pedestrian killed in a crash in Anne Arundel County Tuesday morning.
Larnell Lavorne Dugger, 60, of Washington, D.C. died after being hit by a car around 5:45 a.m. on Route 3 near Capital Raceway Road in Crofton.
Anne Arundel County Police said a Honda Accord driven by John R. Switts, 27, of Bowie was heading south on Route 3 when he hit Dugger, who was standing in the left lane of the road. Dugger was then hit by two other cars that were also southbound.
The other cars were driven by Nahum O. Limjap Jr., 61, of Odenton, and Jessica E. Casey, 28, of Roswell, Ga.
Police said all three cars remained at the scene. Dugger was declared dead at the scene.
Police said Dugger didn’t yield to traffic while in the road outside of the crosswalk. Neither speed nor alcohol appears to be a factor on the part of the drivers.
