LOTHIAN, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police say a Confederate Statue outside of a church was vandalized sometime overnight.
Officers were called to the Mt. Calvary Methodist Church at 812 Mount Zion Marlboro Road for a vandalism.
The statue had been pulled from it’s concrete perch and sprayed with red spray paint. According to officials, the statue was last seen, undamaged, at around 11:00 p.m. on Thursday.
